At Aplos Housing Resources, we understand that assessing whether an applicant is eligible for assistance can be one of the most difficult assessments a homelessness officer makes.

We are pleased to have developed an eligibility calculator that takes away the stress of assessing eligibility in both Part 6 & Part 7 Housing Act 1996 applications.

No training required!

Not only will the calculator take you through all the questions that an officer needs to ask, but it will also make a recommendation as to whether the applicant is eligible or not.

Eligibility Templates

If an applicant is not eligible the correct ‘not eligible’ letter will pop up ready for you the officer to complete with the relevant details saving you time whilst ensuring that you are using the legally correct template.

Download Responses

You are also able to download the responses from the applicant to the various questions in a PDF for it to be added to the housing file to show how the eligibility decision was reached.

Always Up to Date Criteria

We are fully aware that the eligibility criteria change regularly. You will never need to worry about these changes as we will amend the calculator and update these changes for you behind the scenes so you will always have the updated eligibility criteria.
